Back in the Swing

Well vacation took me to far away lands where the things I try to grow in my flower bed thrive on the side of the road. How depressing. Washington has it good. BUT! I am making HUGE strides! I came home from the "vaca" to amazingly large plant life...and amazingly hideous weeds! Wow. Great job. They doubled in size and number. However, there is nothing that a good pair of those hard working gloves and a good spade can't handle. I want to show you some before and after shots of things.
This is my Lupin plant as I planted it:
This is my Lupin plant right now!

 Making some great progress right!!
Here is what the garden started out looking like...
Pretty barren. But now its lush and bursting with life! I love it!:

It's Beautiful!!

Things are just cruising along! I can't believe I'm already eating peas! Nothing like a fresh pea pod! YUM! Marmy and Jens and I used to shell the peas and watch TCM (Turner Classic Movies) all afternoon in the summer. What good times! I loved watching Fred Estair twirling around that hot face of his while eating...oops...shelling peas! Hope you all have been well. And here is a little thing to remember. A little water goes a long way. My little potted pansy looked a little wilty this morning, so I dowsed her in water and what do ya know! She;s back with a vengeance.

I feel an analogy coming on...
